Chief Executive Officer

Oggie is chief executive officer of Breckinridge Capital Advisors, a Boston-based investment manager with over $47 billion in assets under management. He oversees investment management and product development at Breckinridge and serves as a member of the Executive Committee and a member of the Board of Directors. 

Prior to assuming the CEO role in June 2024, Oggie was the firm’s chief investment officer, a position he held since joining Breckinridge in 2021. 

Oggie is a thought leader within the industry and has been featured by top publications and conferences. His insights have been included in Institutional Investor, Chief Investment Officer, Pensions & Investments, FundFire, With Intelligence, Fund Intelligence, FIN News and US News & World Report. He’s also been a featured speaker at events such as Schwab IMPACT.  

Before joining Breckinridge in 2021, Oggie was Retirement Income Solutions Investment Lead at Fidelity Investments. He led investment and product teams to develop innovative investment solutions for workplace and retail markets, incorporating lifetime income guarantees for people who are nearing and living in retirement. Prior to this, Oggie led Fidelity’s Global Institutional Solutions team from 2014 – 2019 and oversaw the management of customized multi-asset and LDI mandates for institutional investors and intermediaries with primary focus on defined benefit plans, endowments, foundations and family offices. He also provided investment leadership and oversight on $22 billion in client AUM invested across proprietary and third-party equity, fixed income and alternative strategies.

Oggie began his financial services career in 2005 as a quantitative analyst, first at State Street and then at Fidelity.

Oggie holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering, as well as a Master of Science in management and a Master of Business administration degrees, all from the University of Florida. Oggie is also a Certified Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) and a Financial Risk Manager (FRM) charter holder and held an adjunct faculty position at Bryant University from 2010-2012, teaching undergraduate finance and investment courses.
