Alert: Social Media and Stock Tip Scams
Breckinridge Capital Advisors has recently become aware of instances in which unauthorized parties have attempted to use our firm’s name, brand, or the names of our employees in misleading ways. These individuals or entities may imitate Breckinridge communications, present themselves as firm personnel, or offer services that we do not provide.
To protect yourself, please exercise caution when receiving unexpected messages, solicitations, or investment-related outreach that claim to come from Breckinridge.
The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has issued an Investor Alert highlighting similar schemes involving fraudulent stock tips and impersonation. You may review the SEC’s alert here: SEC Investor Alert: Social Media and Stock Tip Scams
