James is head of institutional at Breckinridge. In his role, James leads the firm’s relationship management initiatives and sets overall business development strategy for the institutional channel. He joined the firm in 2010 and has over 26 years of investment industry experience. Prior to Breckinridge, he spent over 8 years at Gannett Welsh & Kotler LLC. where his primary responsibilities included business development and relationship management within the firm’s Sales and Client Service group. He started his career in the mutual funds department at Loomis Sayles & Company, first as an associate in the sales and marketing group, then as a quantitative/performance analyst in the fund administration group. James is a member of the CFA Society Boston, Inc. James received a B.A. in psychology from Colby College. He holds a Series 65 license and is a CFA® charterholder.
