Breckinridge Expands Credit Research Team
BOSTON – March 31, 2015 – Breckinridge Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Heather Young has joined the credit research team as Vice President of Corporate Research. She will cover investment grade bond issuers within telecommunications, media and technology, as well as consumer cyclicals and transportation sectors.
“Heather brings years of valuable experience in corporate bond investing to Breckinridge and we are excited to welcome such a qualified individual to our firm,” said Nick Elfner, Director of Corporate Research. “Her expertise in debt capital markets and specifically within the investment grade corporate market will greatly benefit our credit research team as well as our clients.”
Young joins Breckinridge from CommonAngels Ventures where she invested in early stage software and technology startup companies. Previously, she was a Vice President at Loomis, Sayles, & Co. covering investment grade, high yield, and bank loan investments in the global telecommunications and emerging markets sectors. Young has held positions as an investment grade credit analyst at Columbia Management and as a mid-cap corporate banking analyst at Bank of America, where she participated in the company’s credit training program.
Young graduated from the MIT Sloan School of Management with an M.B.A., and also holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston University. Additionally, she is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
